הנה - Heidelberg Conference on Hebrew Studies

Preliminary information

In spring 2026, the Hochschule für Jüdische Studien will organise a Hebraist conference.

The aim of the conference is to present and discuss Hebraistic qualification projects (doctorate, postdoc, habilitation). Interested parties are cordially invited to register via e-mail before the actual Call for Participation. The conference is primarily aimed at early career researchers in the field of Hebrew linguistics, but participation is open to all.

The presentations should last approximately 10-20 minutes and then be discussed in plenary. Thematically, contributions from all language levels of Hebrew are welcome. The conference and primary language of presentation is German, individual presentations may be given in English.
