Dates and Deadlines

German and international students 01.06.2024 – 30.09.2024

The re-registration period for the summer semester is from January 15 to February 15, for the winter semester from June 15 to July 15.

Please note: You can find the fee amount applicable to you, your personal reason for payment and the current fee status in your heiCO account under “Semester/tuition fees”.

Re-registration takes place by transferring the relevant fees. A cash payment is not possible. Once you have paid the semester fee to Heidelberg University, you are re-registered for the full course of study at Heidelberg University and the HfJS.

The following deadlines apply to all students at the university with the exception of scholarship holders covered by a special regulation:

Term papers written as part of proseminars and seminars should generally be submitted by the beginning of the lecture period following the semester.

In justified cases, an extension period may be agreed with the lecturer. Such justification must then be submitted in writing to the lecturer and approved by him/her. In the interest of the students, assignments should be corrected as soon as possible. The guideline is a correction period of three months.
