Sponsors and Cooperations

Sponsorship

The Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies (HfJS) is sponsored by the Central Council of Jews in Germany.

The HfJS has close links with the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. A cooperation agreement forms the basis for dual enrollment.

HfJS students can benefit from the cooperation with the Heidelberg University of Education.

Jewish social workers study at the FH Erfurt in cooperation with the HfJS Heidelberg.

The Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerk (ELES) is the scholarship organization of the Jewish community in Germany. As one of thirteen study programs funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), ELES has stood for a tradition-conscious, pluralistic and cosmopolitan Judaism since its foundation in 2009.

Some lecturers at the HfJS are involved in the study program and various students receive a scholarship from ELES. There is a special cooperation with ELES and Paideia for the Master's degree course in Jewish Civilizations.
