Interreligious cooperation to support humanitarian missions

As part of intercultural understanding in our region, this time the Mannheim Mapathons e. V. will bring together people from different religious communities/organisations to support -- as always -- humanitarian organisations in their worldwide missions. The Mapathons will therefore take place in the rooms of the respective congregations: Mannheim Synagogue(JGM - Jewish Communities Mannheim), Mosque Community of the Islamic Workers' Association (Al-Faruq) and the Catholic Education Centre SanctClara. Through their presence in the "spaces of others", participants have the opportunity to gain new knowledge about the practices and community life and thus better understand other perspectives. A mapathon at the Abendakademie Mannheim at the end of 2024 will conclude the project.
