Vernissage “How are you?”

The works of 48 of the most important German-speaking comic artists are the result of the initiative “Wie geht es dir? Cartoonists against anti-Semitism, hatred and racism”. The artists want to overcome speechlessness in the face of the terrible suffering that people in the Middle East have been exposed to since the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7, 2023 and the subsequent wars. They want to counteract the polarization in our society and invite people to engage in dialogue.

18:00 Arrival and first look at the exhibition

18:32 Breaking of the fast with buffet

19:00 Discussion between the organizers (Bonka von Bredow IZ, Dr. Brämer HfJS, Yasemin Soylu Muslim Academy, Annette Goerlich Heinrich Böll Foundation BW, moderated by Henriette Katzenstein)

Followed by a moderated discussion with Julia Kleinbeck as artist and Dr. Brämer as discussion partner, on the idea, goals, implementation, history, etc. of the exhibition

Finally, there will be an opportunity for questions from the audience and an end with music
