The Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies (HfJS Heidelberg) will be awarding an honorary doctorate to one of the most important historians of Jewish history, Prof. Dr. Israel Yuval, at a ceremony on November 5 at 7 pm
most important historians of Jewish history - Prof. Dr. Israel Yuval.

The Jerusalem scholar, who has already been awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, will receive this award from the HfJS Heidelberg for his outstanding academic achievements and fundamental work on Jewish social and intellectual history, the relationship between Jews and Christians in the past and present and the development of Israeli-German academic relations
