The part-time 7-semester Bachelor's degree course in Jewish Social Work provides students with basic skills in the field of social work and Jewish religion. This degree program is characterized by its special structure and practical relevance and is unique in its kind.

Attendance phases and blended learning

The degree program is based on a modern blended learning concept that offers you maximum flexibility. Each semester there are approx. 3-4 weeks of face-to-face teaching, during which you have the opportunity to come into direct contact with your lecturers and fellow students and engage intensively with the course content.

Theory-practice transfer and study circles

Another highlight of the course is the high proportion of theory-practice transfer. You will not only work through the module content in theory, but also deepen it in practical study circles. These study circles enable you to put what you have learned directly into practice and gain valuable professional experience.

Practice-oriented study concept

The degree program pursues a practice-oriented education based on scientific knowledge and methods, through which students acquire knowledge, skills and abilities that enable them to work independently in the field of social work. The general aim of the course is to enable students to work independently in the fields of social work (social pedagogy and social work) on the basis of scientific knowledge and methods, while also taking religious aspects into account.
