Ambivalent Enmity goes Podcast

Press Release

While the on-site events have already attracted participants far beyond the usual academically interested audience, the Graduiertenkolleg's newly launched podcast could also attract listeners beyond the region.

In the first episode of “Enemy Encounters”, the speakers from “Ambivalent Enmity” provide an insight into the theories, methods and experiences that form the basis of the interdisciplinary research and training group. Why should we research ambivalence of enmity? How have current wars shaped research? Which disciplinary perspectives are best suited to our understanding of enmity?

 To the Podcast

Ambivalent Enmity is based on a cooperation between the university and the University of Heidelberg and is funded by the German Research Foundation. The aim is to contribute to a theory-based understanding of the dynamics of enmity through empirical case studies in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
