As Shabbat Parashat Korah is also Rosh Chodesh, the traditional holiday for women, a very special woman who was born in the month of Tammus will be commemorated: Regina Jonas, ordained in 1935 as the world's first female rabbi. Of course, it is not only women who are welcome on July 5.
The celebration will also be musically arranged, especially with liturgical works by Jewish female composers and cantors; the rehearsal will take place on 4.7.2024, 18:00-19:00 in S 4.
