Felix Weil (1898-1975) and the Frankfurt Institute for Social Research
In his lecture, Hans-Peter Gruber follows the cosmopolitan and multifaceted life of Felix Weil. He shows the many traces he left behind in the German Empire and the Weimar Republic, in North and South America and finally also in the Federal Republic of Germany. In addition to the many milestones of the 20th century, Felix Weil's Jewish origins also become visible as an ever-present factor that accompanied his life. The Gesellschaft der Freunde of the Heidelberg University and the Hochschule für Jüdische Studien are looking forward to an informative and convivial evening of lectures, which will take place at the Hochschule für Jüdische Studien.
The event is already fully booked.
