University receives Chancellor

Press Release

With the approval of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, Mrs. Caroline Kiss will continue her management activities in the administration with the title of Chancellor in the new year.

"The university's basic regulations stipulate that the Rector may, with the consent of the responsible body, grant the Head of Administration the right to use the title of Chancellor. As I greatly appreciate Mrs. Kiss as a competent colleague and in order to send a signal of recognition, I have asked the Central Council to address this issue in a meeting of the Presidential Board," said Rector Andreas Brämer. The title also underlines the importance of her diverse tasks for our university.

Mrs. Kiss, who has now been working at the university for ten years, is delighted: “I would like to thank the Rector and the Central Council for their appreciation and the trust they have placed in me.”

We congratulate the university chancellor and wish her continued success.
